Ahmed Usman Ododo is a Nigerian Politician who was the Auditor General for Local Government in Kogi State until 2023. He is an Ebira man by tribe and hails from Okene in Okene Local Goverment Area in Kogi state.
He was born to a high repute family of Ahmed Ododo of Akuta Clan in Upogoro, in February 7, 1982.
Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo started his education at the Local Government Primary and Roman Catholic Mission School, (LGEA/RCM) Upogoro, Okene LGA of Kogi State where he obtained his first school leaving certificate.
He got admitted into Local Government Secondary School, Upogoro where he obtained his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.
His enthusiasm for education got him admitted into the Federal Polythecnic, Bidda in Niger state, where he bagged a National Diploma in Accounting in 1997 and Higher National Diploma in Accounting in 2001 as one of the graduands with best results.
Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has worked as industrial Training Officer from 1997-1998, taught at his Local Government Secondary School, Upogoro-Okene, worked at the Central Bank of Nigeria in Imo State during his NYSC from 2002 - 2003.
He got accomplished at the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) as its Manager of Finance and the Power Holding Company of Nigeria PLC, Kontagora. And as Disbursement Officer from 2005 - 2007.
